Kaneohe, HI : One dead, one seriously injured in single-vehicle Zephyrhills crash on Sunday, 8th September 2019

A 23-year old Zephyrhills man died after the 1998 Chevrolet Model 1500 pickup he was riding passenger in lost control and crashed into the tree-line off U.S. 301 near SR-56, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the crash occurred after the truck made two overcorrections before leaving the road’s east shoulder and striking a tree around 4:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

The driver of the truck, 25-year-old Alexander Hiscock, of Zephyrhills, was seriously injured in the crash and transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he remained Sunday morning.
