Chandler, AZ : 1 killed in fiery crash on Loop 101 in Chandler on Thursday, 23rd May 2019

A motorist was killed in a fiery crash on Loop 101 Wednesday night in Chandler, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.

The single-vehicle crash occurred on the southbound side of Loop 101 Price Freeway at the transition onto the eastbound Loop 202 San Tan Freeway, DPS said.

A vehicle struck a freeway barrier wall, causing the car to catch fire and heavily damaging the wall.

No other injuries were reported.
