Taunton, MA : Easton man trapped in burning car after rollover crash on Tuesday August 30, 2016

An Easton man was trapped inside a burning vehicle when the car he was driving went off the road and struck a tree and rolled over Tuesday night.

Kyle Buckley, 20, was driving down Poquanticut Avenue at about 7:50 p.m. when the crash occurred, Easton Police Deputy Chief Keith Boone said.

When police and firefighters arrived, Buckley was trapped inside the Volkswagen sedan, which had caught fire due to the crash, Boone said.

Firefighters quickly put out the flames and used the Jaws of Life extrication tool to free the man.

Buckley was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with non-life threatening injuries, Boone said.
