Ashburn, VA : Ashburn crash leaves one dead, hospitalizes five on Monday, 26th October, 2020

A two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Waxpool Road and Smith Switch Road in Ashburn resulted in a death and five people being sent to the hospital Monday morning, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded around 6:35 a.m. to the scene, where Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue workers pronounced an occupant in one of the vehicles dead.

Five other vehicle occupants were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
