Ocala ,FL : Two children injured in Crash after Drunken pregnant woman crashes with two children in car on Wednesday ,March 11th 2015

A pregnant woman is accused of driving drunk with twin toddlers in the back seat.

Ocala police said Angel Oliver had a blood-alcohol level of nearly three times the legal limit and that the twins were not secured in car seats.

Officers found Oliver in her SUV after they said she rear-ended another car on Southwest 16th Avenue and State Road 200 just after 11 p.m. Wednesday.

An officer saw one of the twins in the back seat and said Oliver reached behind the front seats and lifted the other child from the floor of the vehicle, where the child had landed after the crash.

Police found several empty and full beer cans in the SUV.

The twins’ father came to the scene to accompany the children to the hospital to be examined.

Oliver was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail.

The Department of Children and Families is also investigating.
