Orlando, FA : seven people injured in dump truck crash on June 6th 2014.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused a dump truck to crash into several cars, injuring three children and four adults.
This happened at Vineland Road and Conroy Road in Orlando, right next to the theme park "The Holy Land Experience."
And if you know the area, it is an extremely busy intersection.
We've uncovered that there have been problems at this intersection for years.
For people who live and work around here, accidents are a regular occurrence.
And while everyone injured today is expected to be OK, the people we spoke with believe more needs to be done to reduce traffic crashes.
People in the area, victims included, were distraught after the "movie-like" crash.
"It's terrible. This intersection is very dangerous," said Joseph Alce, owner of Royal Touch Cleaners.
He says he sees crashes all the time.
"The car goes boom or almost hits him. There is always an accident," Alce said.
Police say the truck was going eastbound on Conroy Road and first hit cars at the intersection; then crossed over hit the median and struck a few more cars on Vineland before going down an embankment and landing in a wooded area.
"It sounded like an airplane--veeeeer. Then bam, bam, bam ... you hear the crash," said Christian Mojia, who heard the accident.
Orlando City leaders say this intersection has been a problem for years; there are even three red light cameras at this intersection.
Officials tell me the cameras were put up in 2008 because there were so many crashes at this location and that it continues to have a high rate of red light crashes.
