Glasgow, KY : Man injured in motorcycle wreck in Glasgow on Monday, June 26, 2017
The Barren County Sheriff's Office responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a box truck around 10 a.m. Monday at the intersection of the outer loop and Exit 8 of the Cumberland Parkway, according to a BCSO press release.Jonias Hamerick, 24, was driving a motorcycle south on the outer loop approaching the intersection of the eastbound ramp of the Cumberland Parkway when a single-axle box truck entered into his path causing the collision, the press release states.
Hamerick was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital by the Barren-Metcalfe County Emergency Medical Service and later flown to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, according to the press release. Deputy Bobby McCown is investigating the wreck. The South Barren Fire Department also responded to the scene.

The BCSO responded to another wreck with an injury at approximately 11:50 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Bayles Road and Megan Lane, according to the press release.
Danny Price was traveling west on Bayles Road when a delivery truck entered into his lane, the press release states. Price was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for injuries sustained in the wreck. Deputy Chris Wyatt is investigating the wreck. The BMCEMS and the Haywood Fire Department also responded to the scene.
