PASCO Co, FL : Pumpkin truck causes fiery crash on highway on Friday, September 22nd 2017
Florida highway crews are working on a big repair job after crash on I-75 Friday morning.
Officials said a truck hauling pumpkins crashed and burst into flames in Pasco County.
According to investigators, the driver was able to get out of the vehicle and wasn't injured, but the pumpkins also caught fire and then spilled out onto the interstate.
Officials said the pumpkin mess left so much damage on the interstate that it will need to be repaved.
Drivers are being asked to take alternate routes until highway patrol is able to make the repairs.
