Jacksonville, FL : Three people injured in a three-car crash on Dunn Avenue on Monday afternoon, Nov 30, 2015

A three-car crash on Dunn Avenue sent three drivers to the hospital Monday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police said a man in his 20s was driving an SUV and crossed over the center line while looking down at his cellphone. He collided head-on with a Toyota Camry that then hit with a Nissan Pathfinder. The man and the two women driving the other vehicles were all taken to UF Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

The man was cited for careless driving, police said.

All eastbound lanes of Dunn Avenue were closed while police investigated the crash but reopened just before 4 p.m.
