Two people were injured in a vehicle crash in southwest Charlotte Wednesday afternoon, according to Medic.
The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. on Monroe Road near McMullen Way. Officials have not released many details, but Medic confirmed two people were taken from the scene to area hospitals.
One of the patients was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries. The other was taken to Novant Presbyterian with minor injuries.
No names have been released.
Investigators have not said what may have led to the crash or if any charges are being filed.
