NASHUA, NH : Driver dies after speeding away from traffic stop, crashing on Wednesday, December 21st 2016

New Hampshire state police say a driver has died after she fled from a trooper during a motor vehicle stop at a high rate of speed and crashed.

Police say 26-year-old Jessica Garcia was ejected from her car early Wednesday and was taken to a hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Police say as the trooper conducted the stop on the southbound Everett Turnpike in Nashua. As he attempted to identify the driver, the car took off and crashed while taking an exit off ramp. Police say she failed to negotiate the curve of the off ramp and lost control of the car.

Police are investigating the accident.
