TAMPA, FL : Four killed, including two boys, in I-75 crash near Selmon Expressway in Hillsborough on Wednesday, 27th December 2023

Four people, including a 12-year-old and 14-year-old, were killed in a crash on I-75 just north of the Selmon Expressway in Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said two pickup trucks were involved, when one of them tried to change lanes, which caused the crash. The truck that tried to change lanes spun out and flipped into the grass median along I-75, causing all four people inside the truck to be thrown from the vehicle.

According to FHP, a 36-year-old man, 34-year-old woman, a 14-year-old boy, and a 12-year-old boy – who are all from Clearwater – died from their injuries after the crash.
