Baltimore, MD : Woman serious injuries after a crash in Gambrills early Wednesday morning, February 3, 2016

A woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries after a crash early Wednesday morning in Gambrills, county fire officials said.

Firefighters responded to the area of Route 3 S. and Saint Stephens Church Road around 2:15 a.m. where they located a single vehicle that had left the runway. The vehicle had possibly rolled over multiple times before going into the woods.

The driver, estimated to be in her mid-30s was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with injuries that were believed to be non-life threatening.

Additional information was not immediately available Wednesday morning.
