WAYNESBORO, PA : One flown from scene of Waynesboro crash involving Jeep, school bus near Marsh and Polktown roads in Waynesboro on Thursday, 9th January, 2020

One person was airlifted from a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus around 4 p.m. Thursday near Marsh and Polktown roads in Waynesboro.

According to Washington Township police, Emily Low, 43, of Waynesboro, was transported from the scene by helicopter for medical evaluation after a Jeep Wrangler collided with a school bus.

Police said a school bus driven by Jennifer Policicchio, 44, of Waynesboro, pulled into the path of the Jeep driven by Low.

There were children on the school bus at the time of the crash, but no injuries to those on the bus were reported, according to police.

The crash is under investigation.
