Park River, N.D : Walsh County prosecutor injured in rollover crash on Highway 18 east of Park River on Saturday morning, December 12, 2015

Walsh County's state's attorney was treated at a hospital and later released after being injured in a vehicle crash.

The Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Barbara Whelan lost control of her sport utility vehicle Saturday morning while trying to pass another vehicle on a slick state Highway 18 east of Park River.

Whelan's vehicle rolled in the ditch. She was taken to a Park River hospital with unspecified injuries. WDAY-TV reported Sunday that she had been released.
