ATLANTA, GA : 1 dead, 2 taken to hospital after car crash in northwest Atlanta on Saturday, 22nd June 2024

One person died and two others were taken to the hospital after a crash in northwest Atlanta Saturday night, according to police.

Around 11:38 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW and North Avenue NW in Bankhead, where a Ford Edge and a Volkswagen Jetta had collided. The passenger in the Edge, a 31-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
