Antioch,TN : Woman killed after being hit by pickup truck in Antioch on April, Monday 2nd 2018

Police have confirmed a woman was hit and killed by a pickup truck while crossing Bell Road late Monday night.

According to police, Cathleen Ivy was not inside of a crosswalk when she crossed the street near Cane Ridge Road around 10:15 p.m.

Police said the driver of the Toyota Tundra stayed at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment.

Ivy, of Grand Rapids, MI, was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

It's not clear if any charges will be filed against the driver, 38-year-old Jose Manuel Hernandez-Tapia.
