Franklin County, WA : Pasco man injured in crash north of Mesa early Wednesday morning, January 6, 2016

An early morning Wednesday crash north of Mesa sent a Pasco man to the hospital.

Jeremy J. Boman, 38, of Kennewick, was driving north on Highway 17, just north of Booker Road, when he lost control of his van and hit a light blue Honda Civic driven by Martin G. Gutierrez, 51, of Pasco, the Washington State patrol said.

Gutierrez was taken to Lourdes Health with unknown injuries.

Boman’s white 2006 Ford Econovan hit the other car just before 7 a.m. about 13 miles north of Mesa in Franklin County, the state patrol said.

Boman was cited for speeding too fast for conditions, the state patrol said.
