Tucson, AZ : 74-year-old man dies following two-car crash in Marana on Thursday, 3rd November 2016

Marana police have identified the 74-year-old man who died in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night.

Arthur Howard Sayre was one of two people involved in the crash, which occurred in the area of West Ina Road and North Thornydale Road at about 6:30 p.m., said Sgt. Chris Warren, a Marana Police Department spokesman.

Sayre was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the second car was evaluated at the scene by Northwest Fire District.

Detectives are continuing the investigation into the cause of the crash, although it doesn't appear that speed or alcohol are factors, Warren said.
