Port Orchard, WA : One person injured in Highway 16 crash on Friday,September 4th 2015

One person was hospitalized after a car went over an embankment on eastbound Highway 16 and landed on Mullenix Road below, according to South Kitsap Fire and Rescue.
The car reportedly missed a safety barrier at about 4:30 p.m. and went airborne, landing between the two Highway 16 overpasses on Mullenix. The driver was taken to St. Joe’s hospital in Tacoma.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Russ Winger said via Twitter that the driver "apparently (fell) asleep at the wheel." Winger said the driver's injuries appeared to be minor.
