CALEDONIA, MN : A Decorah man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, August 12, 2017

A Decorah man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash near Caledonia, Minn., Saturday.

George H. Hamilton, 63, was operating a motorcycle when he collided with a minivan being driven by Gordon C. King, 67, of Caledonia, about 11:25 a.m. on Highway 44, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The report states King was southbound on Minnesota Highway 76, stopped at the stop sign at Highway 44 and did not see the motorcycle which was eastbound. Hamilton laid the motorcycle down, sliding to impact the minivan.

Hamilton was transported to Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis., with non-life-threatening injuries. King was ticketed after the crash.
