Norfolk, VA : 3 people hospitalized in downtown Norfolk crash on Monday afternoon, March 20, 2017
Three people were taken to the hospital after a Monday afternoon crash.
A GMC and Ford crashed into each other at the intersection of West Olney Road and Boush Street shortly before 5 p.m., police said. The GMC was going eastbound on Olney and the Ford was going north on Boush.
Officer Daniel Hudson, a police spokesman, said the driver of the GMC was a woman and was the only person in that vehicle. She was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
There were three people – two women and a man – in the Ford, Hudson said. The man and one of the women were taken to the hospital with juries that were also not life-threatening. The second woman rode in the ambulance because the other two were relatives, Hudson said.
Charges are pending.
