Victoria, TX : Woman removed from vehicle in Navarro wreck on Thursday September 15 2016

The driver of a gold Kia was injured after colliding with a black Chevrolet Silverado in the 8400 block of North Navarro Street about 1:40 p.m. Thursday.

Gloria Saldivar suffered minor injuries and was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro, said senior police officer JJ Houlton, of the Victoria Police Department.

The northbound Silverado crashed into the Kia's driver's side door as Saldivar made a left turn south onto North Navarro Street. She was leaving the Hobby Lobby parking lot on Primrose Street, where there is no traffic light.

The woman was removed from the Kia by firefighters through her passenger door and placed on a stretcher before she was loaded into an ambulance.
