Oneonta, AL : Unrestrained woman killed in Blount County wreck on Monday afternoon, September 26, 2016

An Altoona woman died Monday afternoon when the vehicle she was driving ran off the road and slammed into a tree, Alabama State Troopers said.

Sandra Garcia Rojo was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene on Blount County 36 five miles north of Oneonta, trooper said.

A single-vehicle crash at 2:45 p.m. Troopers did not release any other details about the wreck.
