Middleboro, MA : 61-year-old man died in a single-car crash on Route 495 in Middleboro on Thursday morning, Nov 12, 2015

A 61-year-old man from Wareham died in a single-car crash in Middleboro Thursday morning, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Walter Florindo was driving on Route 495 north around 6:30 a.m. when his car ran off the roadway and crashed into a line of trees, police said. He was taken to Tobey Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Police are investigating the crash, but believe Florindo’s car veered off the road as a result of a medical issue.
