Tyngsboro,MA : 19-year-old man dies in rollover crash on Route 3 in Tyngsborough on June, Sunday 11th 2017

A 19-year-old man died Sunday morning after a vehicle rolled over on Route 3 in Tyngsborough.

The name of the driver has not been released as of Sunday afternoon.

Massachusetts State Police troopers from the Andover barracks responded to a report of a one-car rollover on Rte. 3 northbound around 6:30 a.m.

A preliminary investigation by Trooper Stephen Thompson indicates that a 2003 Volkswagen Passat was traveling northbound when it suddenly veered to the right and into the breakdown lane.

The car then went into the grass and rolled over. The driver died at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
