GILMANTON, NH : Car ends up vertical against tree following crash in Gilmanton on Friday, 24th August 2018

A car ended up vertical against a tree after an accident in Gilmanton Friday night.At 11:22 p.m., Gilmanton firefighters were dispatched to Perkins Road for a reported motor vehicle accident with a subject trapped.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a man trapped in the vehicle, who was then extricated, stabilized and transported to Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia.

Speed and alcohol appear to have contributed to the accident, officials said.
