Beaver Dam, WI : Man died and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway A in Dodge County on Monday morning, Sep 21, 2015

A man was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Beaver Dam.

The crash happened shortly before 2 p.m. on Highway A, a half mile north of Highway B, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said.

Authorities said their preliminary investigation shows that a 2004 Cadillac DeVille was traveling southbound when it crossed the center of the road and hit a northbound 1996 Volvo station wagon.

The driver of the Cadillac was taken to Beaver Dam Community Hospital with injuries considered not life-threatening, and the driver of the Volvo was flown to Aurora Hospital in Summit with serious injuries, authorities said. He died at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning.

A passenger in the Volvo was taken to Beaver Dam Community Hospital and immediately flown to UW Hospital in Madison.

Names of those involved in the crash have not yet been released.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office crash investigation team.
