Two drivers were taken to Syracuse hospitals after a crash Sunday evening on Route 31 at Morgan Road, Onondaga County sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Jon Seeber said.

Someone called the Onondaga County 911 Center at 7:23 p.m. to report the two-vehicle crash.

When Clay firefighters arrived, they reported three adults and three children needed to be evaluated, according to police dispatches.

Four ambulances were called to the scene, but Clay firefighters then told dispatchers only two ambulances — Brewerton and Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps (GBAC) — were needed. North Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps (NAVAC) was canceled seven minutes after the initial 911 call.
