Schuyler Falls , NY : 35-year-old woman was hospitalized after her sport utility vehicle crashed into a northern New York River on early Sunday afternoon, November30th 2014

Police say one woman is dead and another is hospitalized after they were hit by a car while walking along a rural upstate New York road at night. The Washington County Sheriff's Office tells The Post-Star of Glen Falls (http://bit.ly/1rSziuF ) that the accident occurred around 7:15 p.m. Monday on Route 197 in the town of Argyle, 40 miles north of Albany. Deputies say 36-year-old Tonya Crosier of Salem and 40-year-old Leslie Depew of Argyle were walking along the right shoulder of the road when they were hit by a car that was passing another vehicle in a passing zone. Both women were taken to Glens Falls Hospital, where Crosier was pronounced dead.
