Louisville,KY: Two men killed in deadly crash on Dixie Highway at Abbotts Beach Road on Friday afternoon,31st October 2014

Two men who were killed in a crash Friday afternoon have been identified. The wreck occurred on Dixie Highway at Abbotts Beach Road, in the Kosmosdale area of Louisville just after 3 p.m. Marvin F. Wichers, 51, of Louisville, and Daniel E. Dierickx, 50, of Radcliff, Kentucky were both pronounced dead on the scene at 5:25 p.m., according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Larry Carroll. Wichers and Dierickx were both driving when their cars collided. The cause of death for the two men was multiple blunt force injuries. A male passenger in one of the vehicles was transported to University Hospital in serious condition, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department. Air bags deployed in both vehicles and all occupants were wearing seat belts, police said. Funeral arrangements are pending. Source : Victims of deadly crash on Dixie Highway identified
