OKLAHOMA CITY, OK : Officer injured in crash on Oklahoma City's southwest side on Thursday, 26th July 2018

An officer was involved in a crash in southwest Oklahoma City late Thursday night.

A spokesperson for the Oklahoma City Police Department says an officer's unit was waiting at a stop light at Southwest 89th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue when it was rear-ended by a Ford F-250.The officer is said to be sore, but okay.

Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
