7 people hospitalized after crashes on Daytona Beach Florida

Biketoberfest, Romney and Ryan in Daytona Beach, Friday rush hour traffic and rain were a bad combination on Central Florida roads.
Several crashes happened Friday afternoon in the area of I-4 and I-95 near Daytona Beach, including some involving motorcycles.
Four of those crashes happened just east of U-92 on I-4. Eight vehicles were involved.
Three separate crashes also happened about a mile apart from each other in the same area. In all, about 13 vehicles involved.
At least 13 people were treated for injuries. Seven were taken to Halifax Medical Center.
Bikers say they're counting on 4-wheel drivers to be extra careful this weekend.
"If they see a motorcycle or a three-wheel motorcycle that has to move over quick, slow down. Let them over. Don’t cut them off ," said Michael Flynn from South Carolina. "Don’t do any of that stuff because we’re trying to save lives, not end lives.”Flynn's friend was hurt in one of the crashes.Witnesses say her bike was cut off by a car and lost control. Like Flynn, thousands of bikers are in Daytona Beach for Biketoberfest.
