BOWLING GREEN, MO : Bowling Green woman seriously injured in crash on Thursday 25th October 2018

A Bowling Green woman was airlifted by Air Evac to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries following a single-vehicle crash night south of Bowling Green.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 1998 Ford Windstar driven by Chani K. McKenzie, 18, was heading south on Mo. 161 at Pike County Road 314 at 8:01 p.m. when the vehicle went off the road and the driver overcorrected. Police said the van went off the left side of the road struck a road sign and overturned.

Police said McKenzie was not wearing a seat belt.
