ROCKBRIDGE VA : 1 person dead after Rockbridge crash on Sunday, 3rd September 2023

Virginia State Police are investigating after one person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday around 12:55 p.m.
Police say the crash occurred on I-64 one tenth of a mile west of Fredricksburg Road in Rockbridge County.
According to initial investigation, officers determined the driver of a GMC Denali was traveling east on I-64, ran off the right side of the road and overturned.
The driver was not hurt. A passenger, William Barger, Jr. was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene. The age of the victim has not been released.
