Seattle,WA : Motorcyclist critically injured in Seattle crash on April, tuesday 17th 2017
A 26-year-old motorcyclist is critically injured after being hit by an SUV in Rainier View Tuesday night, according to Seattle police. BMW X5 was headed east on South Bangor Street near 56th Avenue South about 6:40 p.m. when its 80-year-old driver flipped a U-turn to head west, reports indicate. At that time, the man riding a motorcycle heading east crashed into the SUV.
The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries. Seattle Fire Department medics took him to Harborview Medical Center.
A drug recognition expert evaluated the SUV driver and found signs of impairment. Cops arrested him and authorities took a blood draw. They released the driver pending the results of the blood test.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
