Orange, TX : 82-year-old Bridge City man injured after a one-vehicle crash on Highway 62 in Orange County on Monday, Sep 21, 2015

An 82-year-old Bridge City man is in critical condition after his car flipped during a one-vehicle crash on Highway 62 in Orange County.
Jack Stout was driving a 2004 Ford SUV just south of FM 105 when he drifted off the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a culvert, according to the Texas Highway Patrol. The vehicle went airborne after striking the culvert and then flipped over and landed on its left side after hitting a second culvert.
Stout was still secured by his seat belt when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
Stout sustained head injuries and was transported by ambulance to Christus St. Elizabeth hospital. Officials said he was talking while being loaded into the ambulance.
