ANSON, ME : Anson man lay injured for 11 hours in woods after motorcycle crash on Wednesday, 4th July 2018
An Anson man was taken to a hospital Wednesday morning with serious injuries after he spent nearly 11 hours stranded in the woods after a motorcycle crash.
A couple was taking a walk before 7 a.m. Wednesday when they heard someone yelling for help, Chief Deputy James Ross, of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, said in a statement. The pair was able to find David Gorey, 52, lying in the woods near the intersection of Pease Hill and Dinsmore roads and called the police.
