Lee County, FL :Lanes reopen I-85 NB near exit 51 after 18-wheeler crash on Wednesday, July 8th 2015

Authorities say one lane of Interstate 85 northbound near Auburn has reopened around the area of exit 51following the wreck of an 18-wheeler.Police say the crash happened near mile marker 53 around 5:30 a.m. The driver of the 18-wheeler, a 55-year-old Tampa, Florida resident was uninjured after the vehicle left the roadway and went off an embankment. The vehicle is sitting on its side.The commercial hauler was carrying clothing when it crashed.Motorists traveling in the northbound direction were advised to take caution and expect delays as they entered the area.The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
