PORTLAND, OR : Double deadly motorcycle crash closes I-5 Morrison Bridge on-ramp on Thursday, 13th June 2024

Two people were found dead at the scene of a motorcycle crash on the ramp from eastbound Morrison Bridge to northbound I-5 on Thursday night, according to PPB.

Just after 8 p.m., officers responded to a crash at Southeast Water Avenue and Southeast Morrison Street. A crashed motorcycle was found on the ramp from eastbound Morrison Bridge to northbound I-5.

Police say a preliminary investigation suggests that the rider and a passenger crashed and were thrown over the barrier into a parking lot below.

During the investigation, the ramp from eastbound Morrison Bridge to northbound I-5 was closed. Southeast Water Avenue was closed between Southeast Yamhill Street and Southeast Alder Street.
