Findlay, OH : Man injured in Findlay collision on Friday, 26th August, 2016
A Findlay man was injured Friday in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of McManness Avenue and McConnell Street, Findlay police reported.
Mark Garza, 51, the driver of one vehicle, was taken by Hanco Ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital with a possible ankle injury, police said.
Police said Mary Ramos, 86, of Findlay, was driving a 2003 Chevy Impala north on McManness Avenue at about 5:56 p.m. when she tried to turn left onto McConnell Street. Ramos turned into the wrong lane and hit Garza’s 1994 Ford Ranger pickup, which was stopping for a stop sign at the intersection, police said.
Ramos was cited for making an improper left-hand turn, police said. She was not injured.
Both vehicles were towed.
