Winters, CA : Arbuckle woman dies in Winters DUI accident on Railroad Avenue north of Niemann Street on Saturday, 22nd February, 2020

An Arbuckle woman is dead and the driver of the vehicle she was riding in arrested following a car crash in Winters Saturday night.

Winters police reported the solo-vehicle crash occurred around 9:29 p.m. on Railroad Avenue north of Niemann Street near downtown Winters.

Police reported officers arrived and rendered aid to the driver and front passenger until firefighters and ambulance crews arrived.

The front-seat passenger was identified by police as Sarah Muller, a 39-year-old resident of Arbuckle. She was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to a statement made by the Police Department.

The driver, identified as Joshua Muller, a 30-year- old resident of Arbuckle, displayed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol, police reported via Facebook.
