NEWCASTLE, CA : 3-vehicle crash causes backup on I-80 in Newcastle on Monday, 18th February 2019

One person was injured Monday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Newcastle, the California Highway Patrol said.

The person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, CHP said.The crash happened around 4 p.m. on westbound I-80 near Newcastle Road. CHP said three vehicles crashed and all three will need to be towed from the scene.
