A one man was killed and two others were injured in a two-car crash in Delaware County Tuesday afternoon, the State Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 521 and County Road 34 in Kingston Township.
Daniel Bertram, 48, of Marengo, was driving a 2003 Toyota Camry north on County Road 34 when he ran a stop sign. A 2015 Chevy Silverado driving east on State Route 521 struck his Camry on the left side, a press release said.
Bertram was declared dead at the scene.
The Silverado’s 16-year-old driver and a 71-year-old passenger were flown to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus with injuries that were not life-threatening, the Patrol said.
Both drivers and the passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, the release said.
