Off-duty Peekskill officer killed in Orange County crash

A well-respected, four-year member of the Peekskill Police Department was killed in a car accident Sunday night in Goshen that also claimed the life of another woman, Peekskill Chief Eugene Tumolo said today. Officer Julian Hermosillo, 29, died in the two-car crash that happened around 8:30 p.m. on Route 17 in Goshen, state police said.
