CORAL GABLES, FL : Coral Gables police motorcycle officer airlifted after crash on Tuesday, 13th February 2024

A Coral Gables police motorcycle officer was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center after he crashed with another vehicle Tuesday afternoon, authorities confirmed.

Coral Gables police and fire rescue units responded to a traffic crash involving one of their officers in the area of Alhambra Circle and Cantoria Avenue, just before 4 p.m.

Coral Gables Fire Rescue confirmed the officer is currently stable.

Authorities have not released any information on the officer’s identity or age at this time or described how the crash occurred.
