A 19-year-old out of Monroe County is dead after being hit by a car while on his bicycle Friday. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says Kristopher Smith, 19, was
riding along Deerfield Road near Rose Road around noon Friday when he collided with a pick-up truck driven by 63-year-old Charles Iott. Smith was taken to St.
Vincent's hospital where he later died. The crash remains under investigation.
