Moraine, OH : Motorcyclist expected to recover following Moraine crash on Wednesday, March 30, 2016
Crews responded to a report of a single motorcyclist struck by a car Wednesday.
The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on West Dorothy Lane, near Encrete Lane, when a truck pulled out in front of him, Sgt. Mike Keegan with the Moraine Police Department said.
Upon transport, the motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was talking and his injuries appear to be non-life-threatening, Keegan said. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
With the warmer months here, motorists are advised to be conscious of motorcyclists on the roads — and motorcyclists are reminded to wear helmets and other protective gear.
The truck, deemed the driver at fault, has been cited for failure to yield in this case.
