CASTLE ROCK, WA : 2 dead after wrong-way crash on I-5 near Castle Rock on Friday, 16th June 2023

Northbound Interstate 5 was closed for several hours early Friday morning due to a deadly crash involving a wrong-way driver.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn tweeted just after 3:30 a.m. about a crash near Exit 49 on northbound I-5.

The crash happened at about 2:45 a.m. Washington State Patrol says a 2006 Ford Ranger was traveling the wrong-way on the interstate when it struck a northbound 2013 Ford Escape, which was then struck by a 2014 Subaru Impreza. A 1996 Honda Accord hit debris from the collision.
