A car heading the wrong way on Highway 167 triggered a rollover crash early Thursday near Kent, the Washington State Patrol reports.
The wrong-way driver remains at large.
State troopers responded to the scene, Highway 167 at 212th Street, at about 2:40 a.m. after receiving reports of a car heading south in the northbound lanes of the highway.
Arriving there, they found a vehicle that had rolled over after barely avoiding a collision with the wrong-way car. The occupants of the rolled-over vehicle were not hurt.
The wrong-way driver kept going after the accident. Near Willis Street, the car stopped and turned around, then exited onto Highway 516.
